Our Technology
- Unique multiple auger drive system – provides a very reactive and controllable process
- Ultra-slow Pyrolysis – with residence times over 30 minutes at gas temperatures over 650 degrees
- Integrated Drying system using plant generated pyrolysis heat.
- Sludge materials dried from 75% to 15% solids
- No need for expensive feedstock densification
- No need for a carrier for sludge waste
- Pyrolysis gas available for conversion into a range of energy vectors
- Future innovation to capture CO2 and Hydrogen from the gas stream –
- NOTE Carbon capture is cheaper, cleaner & cooler to achieve Pre-Combustion rather than Post combustion (Incineration)

Biochar
Our innovative ulytra – slow pyrolysis process (thermal decomposition) creates a by-product, known as Biochar.
Biochar is a material which has huge potential within the field of carbon sequestration, the process of capturing and storing atmospheric carbon dioxide.
Biochar not only provides a stable store for carbon, but it also removes carbon from the atmosphere and has a wide range of environmental benefits that contribute to zero carbon energy and carbon sequestration, including:
- animal feed supplement
- sustainable fertiliser
- increase water retention within agricultural soils
- sanitation, filtration, construction, and medicine sectors
